I did the same thing about a month ago just took my Jack dog to my lease as a riding partner while I was putting corn in my feeder I heard him bay up about 400 yds away got down to go check on him no gun CD or anything and got over there to find that he had finished off a little shoat by himself lucky I guess it wasn't the big stink but it was his first hog found by himself and man was I ever proud I must have called everbody I hunt with on the way home LOL
Haha yea me and my brother did the same exact thing. All of my hunting buddies knew about it before we could get out of the woods. We were very proud of our pups. We were just taking them down there to let them run because my lil gyp had never been in the woods before. I never thought that they would bay one up. Guess thats what I get for thinkin though.lol
