know a guy who owns and trains several, he does it as a side job and is pretty serious into it.  he came to a ranch i guided at on several occasions and had a 100% success find rate on every poorly shot deer our hunters downed.  not too sure what breeds he has but i know one trip out we had a gutshot buck that we tracked one evening for over 3/4mile thru some thick brush without the dog before we decided to call him up and he was tied up til the next morning but he got there at sun-up and we let him do his thing and 15minutes in,the dog bolted straight thru the brush and tackled that poor buck and downed it alone,so theyve got enough drive to stop wounded game from running any further into the abyss. anyway, this is around the Uvalde, TX area and he has a well known reputation in this field so shoot me a personal email and ill give you his info and put you thru to him if youre serious. he's an old college friend of mine and am in contact with him quite often so let me know your location and we'll see what comes of it. -lawdawg
