Well, see, here was the deal. Mom and my cousin Kelly went with me. Mom was gonna have me snubbed up to my older gelding that's a been-there-done-that horse so there wasn't gonna be any real danger.... Well, that whole "best laid plans of mice and men..." Yeah, my older gelding came up more crippled than hell bout 10 mins before the parade, so it was either load up and go home or see if I could make it through alive.... Well, we made it through alive, and she never even skittered sideways one time. I was quite proud of the broncey b*tch, ESPECIALLY since she really did buck like friggin h*ll for the first 15 mins on the lunge-line.
