I had a lab for a bird dog, she was a good one at that. One day I was at the ranch working on deer blinds and I let her and a couple young dogs tag along for exercise. The youngsters struck a hog and stopped it, the lab hit the hog on the ear like a seasoned CD. She was to valuable to me as a bird dog so that was her first and last one. Who knows they may work, their very smart and athletic.
