blue sky catahoulas???

I have a nice looking dog out of Blue Sky and basically he is nothing but a gritty help dog.He is 3 yrs old and stops to pee on something every 40 ft and is always worried about where I am so he wont venture out over 200 yards.The dog has an awesome nose but will not use it to find hogs but I bet he could track me down a mile away.I have tried to lose him before and he will find me everytime.I am about to be hunting in Paris soon so if he doesnt click pretty soon he will have to go.The only reason I have hung onto this piece of crap was that the last 4 year old dog that I gave away ended up turning into one of the best dogs I have ever hunted.I also have to agree with CircleC on what needs to be done with a dog like that and will happen if this dog doesnt change by the summer.
