seen it get bad, buds dog had tail amputated, if its a BD it shouldnt bother it too bad, but a pit will lose a lil ability because they use the tail for balance, chain or larger kennel5x8 min. is your only hope, it will heal not quickly but not too long, for sure get em outta the crates asap
