I have been in this situation one time before and I was glad I was carring a gun! I will not hunt without a gun if I am huntin my dogs. It is tough to watch your dogs gettin cut to heck and can't do anything about it! But I do not let other people carry a gun when I hunt my dogs unless I no them very well. Jet I  hope the dogs heal fast!
