I had the bright idea once that I didn't need my knfe since I had my pistol. Caught a 225lb. boar in a lilly pad pond. Just me and the dogs. Gun jammed. Couldn't drown the hog. Decided to try and get the gun going and thankfully it came un-jammed. Dead hog. I always carry both now.
