I used to do surveying and had some large land pieces that never closed out. Take 100 square feet. In a square that would be ten foot sections 10X10=100 there would be 40 feet of fence 10+10+10+10=40. A rectangle that is twenty feet by five is also 100 sq ft 20X5=100. But 20+20+5+5=50 that would be 50 feet of fencing. So without knowing the shape it is impossible to know you are only guessing. Go measure it. It is not that hard to measure 100 acres. For a hunt or two I will measure it for you.
