I am going to call Maz Harsha out in new mexico or az whereever he is, he used to build a rack for a toytoa truck that was really designed right, it would fold down when not in use and one could haul just dogs or hogs or sheep, it folded down from the side to side and locked and thefront where the headache was also folded back and locked, it was so kewl as if we were in mexico or a ranch that had a lot of low trees in a pinch we could unload the mules and let them out an lower the mule rack and pass under and then reload.  It was galvinized round tube and had a sliding gate on rollers at the back i added to let dogs out one by one as needed or it we struck a cat or hog hot track it was also on hinges so just open th whole gate and let all dogs out and step up and untie the mules, lots of times if we had the regular dog and the rubber mule mat and just  one mule i never tied the mule and we never had a dog fighting him or any kind of mule steped on dog foot, they get used to it pretty quick.  Amos Welder Sales down here can duplicate it again i am thinking if i can find the picture Max sent beofre i bought the first one from somebody out there, he might sell the plans but he took down the pictures he up on MaxHarshae.com or Max the mule man something, if i get it i will share it on here somehow, it was really a big change to us in hunting the gulf coast and helped train dogs faster as well and more hogs, plus we got home quicker and lots of people really loved seeing the dogs with the mules and asking questions.  But having mules causes lots of jealously in huting pardeners as well as if one is one a mule and some are walking it not good for the walkers due to them always late to the hog bay up and gettting pissed off and not wanting to go if no mule for them to ride. its always something but i am going to get 2 or so wifey and i can ride and my hired hand, thats why i am going to set up the W500 4x4 powerwagon with a mule rack if i can con Harsha to send me those old pictures and designs, I offered him $50 for the plans or the pictures so we will see if it comes up those old pics, i have a general idea but i dont remeberexactly how big od the tubing was and the spring loaded latches were those from Duffy Manafacturing from Beeville and I added the wolfe hunting cuting dump/gate on the back, bad thing is i sold it to a quail dog jockey who was on a ranch i used to rollerchop on and it is out of texas and i cant even remmember the guys name, mules are used by a lot of trainers for quail out of state especially if they are hunting 30 o4 40 dogs for others in those furitrtys they run all over.  Never saw the dakota guy, but there was a guy named Gary Flowers down at a Machine shop in alice who had mules and was building one or something when i quit, lost track of him, hope max will turn loose the pics so can get one built again and post up for everybody in case somebody is interested, I sure miss it especially now with this mule coming down today for a trail all i have is a 24 trailer nowdayslol  And it is at wifes ranch in Floridalol  figures
