The only way to get good dogs for certain is to BREED THEM YOURSELF.

I know it’s easier to buy started dogs and adults and what not BUT it is too much aggravation--- not all folks are DOG PEOPLE some are hunters who use dogs but have no understanding of dogs and proper dog husbandry (not dising hunters at all here folks, just stating a fact based on careful observation).

The say may snd cliché but its true ---“one man’s trash is another man’s treasure”---

I personally know of TWO dogs that hunted incredibly well for their owner and would flat out refuse to hunt for anyone else, they wouldn’t even leave the truck ---WHY??? I have no clue--- they got returned and continue to hunt for its first owner ---explain that one to me---

I have said it for years... breed your own and you will be happier for it if you choose the pups correctly.

Also some dogs only hunt for there master and a new owner won't be the master for a long while with some dogs. These dogs I am talking about can be as good as the best that ever hit the woods... A lot of Mtn Curs are this way.

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog...
A hunting dog is born not made...
