sure thing buddy, im waiting on my supply shop to re-stock his cable crimps after i cleaned him out making about 20 various types of leads&couplers this week but will get started once i get the delivery call! This time i ordered a whole box of 200 crimps to keep me busy a while so if you like the free ones, tell a friend or 20
to send in their designs and buy some from me!! i really just do it for my own sake since i seem to lose a lead each hunt i make lol. eventually i got tired of buying them online every other week
so just went all out last year and got 500' of spooled 1/4'' coated aircraft cable, crimping tool w/ bulk crimps and rings and started making my own. basically they are built from the exact same materials as ones id get online, but i now had the ability to experiment, play with new design ideas, and assemble one to better fit any certain need at any given time. i sell quite a few locally and here and there to friends but id like to start selling more of them for now. not so much for a profit cuz id say i dont break-even with materials nevermind when i have to pay shipping lol (which im going to have to start charging people for soon
)but mainly just so people could have more options and choices to customize their own to better fit their needs rather than being stuck with same basic design you see all over the web or having to opt for other material leads that just get chewed thru. just PM me exactly what you need and address info cuz im in the middle of all kinds of complicated designs that got put on hold when parts ran out and could use an easy task for a change. biggest chore is a guy needing a rig for truck bed with a main cable running across the width of the bed attaching 4 short 6-8inch non-slipping cable tie-off points evenly spaced for clipping dogs to mainline so dogs cant jump out, use it for hauling just a few dogs w/o having to load his dogbox.(picture a trotline running across the bed of pickup truck to get a better visual...) here's a pic of one i just made to order yesterday for a horseback style hunter to better fit his catchdog lead:
