These guys raise kemmer mtn curs and they also know quite a few breeders.

There are some jam up original mtn curs just like the kemmers.
Just like any other breed some good some bad but overall these are good strike dogs with grit.

I would try to get a leggy dog with a short slick coat and good length of ear. Also a fast track dog with superior winding ability but look for one that is silent to semi silent. In the kemmer Gold nugget breeding gives a decent size dog with a good tracking and winding nose.

The original Texas Smoke or Busher lines are good but there are quite a few more. There is a breeder named Grider that raises original mtn curs for hog hunting but don't know his number. Phil Baird should know it...

I would buy 2 pups in case one doesn't work out to your standards.
