Been doing it for years 14 and 14 is the best schedule for me plenty of time to hunt when u r home. Hard to train puppies unless u have people to help. If you don't go to a company with a set schedule you will work all the time. Some of the smaller companies also lay off as soon as the rig goes in the grass. Off shore is about the same but you can make more money if you go deep water or over seas. Also usually make more money in the Dakotas or Pennsylvania and move up faster cause hands drop like flies in 30 below weather.
