I will catch a King Snake if I can. When I was a kid hunting in West Texas there some big snakes I think were black and red but no design. The Game Warden said they were not poisonous. So I chased one into a tree (not very tall it was West Texas) I threw stuff trying to knock it down so I could catch it. Forget that snake was probably around five feet long. I realized I was lucky when I caught a garden snake and it bit the tar out of me. I found out a non-poisonous snake can still rip you up Grin Depends on where I am I shoot Copper Heads, Corral Snakes, Rattlers, and Cotton Mouths when I see them. I have even used a Machete because I did not have a gun with me. Any snake in the yard is dead.
