My sons old dog ugly is Incredibly heat tolerant. I've heard of them but I have never seen one as heat tolerant as he is.

Example; 6 years ago August 13th. About as hot and humid as a Texas day can get, I took my son and his buddy hunting. We started at 6 that morning. Ole Ug didn't find hogs until around 9. We finally got him caught just after 4 that evening with 8 good hogs in the truck iced down. No shoats!
I have seen better hog dogs and even owned a few that were better. Non of them could have pulled off a whole day like that in that kind of heat though.
He was incredible that day for sure but he had many, many days like that.
