I took UglyDogs advice and stopped recording the show altogether.  Don't watch it live or recorded anymore.  But there's hardly a day go by someone, knowing that I have hog dogs, asks me if I've seen the show.  I tell 'em I don't wanna talk about it so don't get me started.  Then they usually start laughing and making fun of the L3 team.
Folks, these aren't hog hunters, these are regular working men and women that know nothing about the sport except what they read and see in the media.  It's embarassing to me for people to think that this is what real hog hunting is like and how it's done.  And they pick out the same silly crap that every hog hunter on this board picks at, so they notice it too and know it's goofy stuff.   Undecided  I'll continue to boycott the show and when the topic arises, I will continue to defend the real hog doggers out there.  I know we all hunt a little different, in different types of terrain, with different breeds of dogs, and that's okay.  People have to hunt the way that suits their needs, period.
Just think how many people across America now believe that that show is a true repensentation of our sport?
