Thanks yall My camera is a Canon EOS 1000D, I bought it 3.5 years ago and according to my poor SD card I have took over 9,000 pictures already but I have just recently started playing with the different settings trying to figure it all out.  I use the stock lens but do have a 75-200mm (I think) that I use on ocassion but I always find myself going back to the stock....I plan on getting a 50mm lens eventually so I can try to learn/do those super cool Macro pictures.
