When you have been around a ton of YMBC's you will notice those bell thin shaped ears on some of the older strains of ybc's. the dog i got from Lavon was like that and threw pups with that ear shape.  Seems to me the cowdog types of ymbc's have shorter ears and they feet/toes are fifferent as well.  I am sure hounds are in them somewhere but it must be 100 years ago when Jude Hart was coming from Florida to Texas in a wagon.  Whatya think???  Those Hart dogs used to be wasp waisted as well and a longer tail as well as i remember them.  I have never seen one of those short eared yellow curs smaller dog type version be as cold nosed as those older east tecksus types either.  That why i think people make a huge mistake buying into the cowdog strain puppy mills thinking they are getting anything other than bred for cows curs.  Think about how much more a cow weighs and smells and how much closer a cow ranges as well and also that cows are never worked at night or hunted from a hood like tolder yellow curs used to be.  I dont want any cur that is not from a hog dog strain, waste of time and efort when proven hog strains are out there and on this board actaully hunted by there owners not some hired handslol   Like this agteach???lol
Huh? So cow dog strains of yella curs are not worth the time and effort to try and use on hogs?  Thats a very strong statement to be making. I might have to start culling before I even give mine a chance.

kinda what i was thinking with my plott/BMC pups!!!
