Well Scott, in the case of your dog, id say that in that particular picture with no fore or background objects to judge over all size, I can only say what I see. I see good full length legs longer than the depth of chest, a fully tucked flank, good overall muscle, a well sprung rib cage, what appears to be pretty tight skin and a clean coat. Moving east I see a very well muscled neck who's hair seam is in just the right place in line with bottom of jaw. The eyes appear bright and ears appear to have good set. Muzzle looks to be the standard for the pit dogs of yesteryear not in vogue with the thugs of today. Now on to context clues. Though wee never met I've always enjoyed your posts and respected yor perspective on bull breeds. Knowing what i know of you, id say it is a pit. If not id still say she's probably well bred and in working condition
