They are kinda like a mtn cur, but some mtn curs are starting to look like fiest. The original mtn cur is somewhat between a hound and a cur. The leopard is usually colored like a catahoula or bluetick hound. Nowadays a lot more of them are looking houndy. They take a track and most open on track. There are a few out there that are bred for big game. Some come in red and some in black and tan and others in yellow but the dominant color is blue ticked.
