We had that happen to our best dog a year ago. James just cleaned it up real good, put it back in the sack, stappled it up and then he went and bayed another hog that night. The next day it swoll up pretty good so i started him on pennicillian and a few days after that I went to check on him and the swelling was gone and he had chewed the stapples out. Now there isn't even much of a scar.
Oh yea, and we got a litter of puppies out of him afterwards.

we had it happen two months ago we didnt do nothin but give him a shot of penn it looked like it never happened now we didnt even put it back the old ranchers place we were hunting on gave him a new name that day (nutts) and suprisingly the two yr old dog dont go to anyone but us and now him everytime we go hunting there he says ol nutts come here boy how ya feeling and that dog only besides mayb a pup will go right to him and let him pet him
