We hunt ours 6am and try to be out by 10am. Dose not seem to bother ours to much. The bulldog can get awful hot if you dont watch out. We hunt around water all the time . Trick is no internal fat in them dogs thats why I have never owned a fat dog not even a fat puppy. Never seem to have much problem with the heat.
