I don't care what anybody says we had the right guy in the right place at the right time on 9/11. We needed somebody with a set of stones and I'm glad he was there. I supported then and I support now the invasion of Iraq, it needed to be done. No Saddam was not sitting on an A-bomb but he was sitting on a lot of nasty stuff that he would have sold cheap, and to anybody. Remember in the 80's when he gassed the Kurds in the Northern part of his own country? Did you think he used everything he had? Plus the sanctions we had set in were starting to hurt. He was going to get money from somewhere. Iraq at the time was like a Home Depot for stuff that goes boom, that's why we've been dealing with IED's for so long. Take if from somebody that's been on the wrong end of one, you don't want that crap making it to the states.
Obama I'm not happy with at all. Since he's been in office they've threatened to change my retirement twice and as far as I know he didn't say a peep about it, at least not that issue specifically. I haven't been able to find it if he has. Either Bush or even Clinton would have been screaming about it.
