Clinton NEVER had a surplus--he had a projected surplus. Big big difference. It is like all the commissions they have had on reducing the debt. There have been 17 since 1982 and they have never reduced a single thing.

Here is the way the politicans do it. Any tax increase starts right now and lasts until the battle of armageddon. Any tax cut is way down the road. Most of the time they are in the next administration and never happen. On this last deal the spending increase starts immediately. The cuts are over 10 years. They will NEVER havppen. Anybody want some of that action?
