because my jags kill any thing they can catch like coyotes in anything they get there teeth on i have lost a dog to rabies so my vet said to give them the 1 time a year shot every 6 to 8 months im  not taking a chance with my dogs ! u would do the same if u had the dog for 3 year

x2 if you have alot of yotes around where you hunt its recommended
