I have ran a few here at home with open mouth hounds, I'm no lion hunter but here is the only advise I have for ya, wait until it has a full belly cause the only one I ever put up had eatena huge chunk out of a kid goat 30 mins before the others out ran my dogs and jumped into thick nasty rough country and pulled ahead of us and we never caught up and it was a long night a few times.
I bet there are some lion hunters here that will be able to help ya, I'd like to see some pics if you do
