 It depends on
 
 1. How large is the cut = Very large cuts are stappled with a drain left at the bottom.

 2. How deep is the cut = Deep muscular cuts, the muscle is sewn with dissolvable stitches and the skin is stapped with a drain left at the bottom.

 3. The location of the cut = For small cuts, if the dog can lick it, we leave it alone. If the dog can't reach it, we will clean it and keep an antibiotic salve on it.
