The question I have for you fellas is I have a couple friends that hunt with me but they smoke cigaretts everytime I let my strike dog out to work a track at a water hole. My dog will be trying to work a track while we walk around the water hole looking for sign and they are smoking. Will this hinder the dogs picking up a scent at all or does it even matter. Thanks in advance
It should not affect the dog other than 2nd hand smoke inhalation. Yes, dogs can suffer negative effects from it as well. But feel free to tell your buddies they can't smoke around you, as it is bad for your dog.
