there maybe offset ball joint sold aftermarket... BUT, Ive put in hundreds of ball joints on 02-08 dodge 2500 and 3500 4x4's and ive never had to use nothing but factory parts.... ball joint wear is normally on the inside of the tire..... sounds like a miss alginment or bent steering linkage, even worn linkage parts normally show wear on the inside of the tires.... i'd get a second opinion
