Been hunting hogs since I met my wife about 8 years ago. After my first time shooting and eating one, I gave up on deer. It was something about sitting in the swamp next to an old cypress calling them dudes in that hooked me. The adrenalin of hog hunting beats deer ten fold. If a deer walks thru while I am hog hunting he is down, but I dont walk thru the woods looking for scrapes and hookings... it is all wallows and rooting now. I got into dogging 6 months ago. Now I get to hunt them year round. Grin

I would take still hunting for hogs over deer any day... Just give me the meat musket and a pig squealer.
