I sprayed the inside with raid and still had deer on camera the same evening.

I grew up hunting deer and people over react and spend a ton of money on scentlock and odorless soap. I don't worry about all that but I am sure it helps...best thing is set up on the downwind side.

I would use a good insecticide for ticks or spray a little diesel around...my brother soaks a small rag in diesel and leaves it in the deer stand until the following season. he swears by it...
