Michael Moore was there helping to organize and film. The protesters were mostly professional leftist socialist protesters.

If these are the folks for it, I'm against it.

Wall street is full of greed, but this depression is the result of the tumbling of a house of leftist cards built on a table of Marxism. Democrat politicians demanded that loans be made available to people who couldn't repay them. Monetary institutions were filled with promissory notes that were never to be repaid and as soon as the market began to slip, the whole corrupt system came crashing down.

The current political situation reminds me of a line from the movie Snatch in which the character bricktop causes a characternamed Turk to be in a precarious situation and then says " you're on thin ice my pedigreed chum, and I shall be under it when it breaks."
