I have a nine year old that has been around APBTs her entire life with absolutely no problems. I have owned over 100 APBTs and have not had any problems with human aggression. Out of all of them I have only culled one for human aggression, but it wasn't mine.
Mav, I have broke up many dogfights and have yet to be bit by an APBT while breaking one up. Pits may be a dime a dozen around there, but I would be willing to bet they aren't exactly good APBTs. They are probably all gator mouf, colby, or American. You may also be able to find some of those good tigetstripe pits also.
