KLC,
I have had several dogs that are naturally slender and one of those ate at least 30 to 50% more food than the rest of the pack just to maintain a decent look. That particular dog did not have an undercoat so he had to eat more than normal in the winter to maintain an acceptable weight...

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog...
