They do not realize that us "Hogdoggers" not "hog fighters" get to our dogs and get them off of the hogs as fast as possible. We do not like the animal to be tourtured at all, or at least me and my crew do not. Most of the time we want to keep the hog in the best shape possible to take it to sell. If we do not sell it, and we have enough meat already then we will donate the meat to someone that needs it more than we do.
And they do not care!!!! If they did, maybe some of the folks funneling millions of dollars each year to line their PETA pockets would find something better to spend their money on.
