Thanks for sharing Tony. Back in the day we always had at least one open dog, heck that was a poor man's tracking system. An open dog on a hot track is not a bad thing contrary to popular belief, lol. I can't tolerate a dog bawling in small circles in any type of hunting, a few coon dogs that I owned in the past come to mind. That's a nice looking pup!
I agree...and I know what you mean about a coon dog that takes 3 hrs. and 6 miles of cold trailing just to jump the hog 1/4 of a mile from where he started a track...and the other dogs don't pay him any mind cause they think he is lying...
