I tend to agree with what most folks have said about the "paper" thing. I tried for about six months to teach mine to read but they never did take to it. If I had been the man that you bought the dog from and did not have the puppy papers ,I would have at least sat down and written you out a four or five generation pedigree so you would have something to look at while you waited on your papers to arrive in the mail. I put more stock in a breeder who can sit down and hand write a pedigree, than one who has to wait for a registry to put it together for them.
