well i'm pretty sure the hurt part of it is just the sport ain't no one's fault. As far as loosing a dog i've noticed alot of them just get out of a pen and you can't run a tracker on 'em 24/7 but try and figure out a suitable pen situation for each dog. just a couple thoughts I got when i read this.
