been runnin dogs personaly since the 6o's never owned any kind of tracking system never lost a dog . had to STAY OUT till a few came back in but allways made it back home with them . can't remember dad ever loosing a dog . but spent the night waiting for them to come in i'm sure . i remember dad playing a tune on the horn many a long night when i was young but we went home with the dogs . i'm sure alot of it is the economy and debt most people get into and being scared to death of loosing a job that makes em leave the woods before the dogs make it back to the truck has alot to do with it . me i never had that problem cause i;d rather hunt than work and have never been more than a months wages in debt. i don't have a bunch of shiney new toys but no stress in my life either . and as far as a tracking system a hurt dogs i don't get it
