I will not turn a dog out without a beep beep system as I find them more reliable. I also put a Garmin on each dog. My walkin catch dog also wears the two types of collars. I'm transitioning to a rougher pack and the Garmin makes it so much easier to find injured dogs. Had a friend loose 2 dogs due to heat stroke catching on a hog during the heat of summer. He had a beep beep system. If he had a Garmin he would have known they were caught together. After telling him what I thought, he promptly bout a Garmin.
