If I were wanting to go the RCD route and only run 3 dogs, i woud run 2 RCDs and one strike dog...

I woud want the strike dog to be short range, very loose baying even when the CD or RCDs catch, and not much bottom...

 If your strike dog is rough, i would put a vest on him to at the least...

The last thing i would want is for my dogs to be caught a long ways off and it take a while to get to them... You catch a bad boar like that and you may not have to worry about having too many dogs...
