Can u post pics of the parents of the pups... and do u hunt both the parents??
This was an accidental pairing. Gyp-C broke the door of the crate I had her in and went out through the dog door in the wee morning hours.
The mother (Gyp-C) was 11 months old at the time of the breeding. She had been hunting about 3 months and was really coming on. She had a good nose, hunted hard, honored another dog's bay and was there on every hog when she was on the ground. Had probably been on 20 or so hogs. The vet gave me the wrong dosing on Moxidectin and she died 6 weeks ago.
Father was another issue. He was given to me by a guy from Florida. He had never hunted, but came from lines of hunting dogs. I got him when he was 2 years. I never got a chance to hunt him, because he and My Dogo Argentino male had problems. He never really seemed to have problems with any other dogs, just Achilles. I found him another home, with folks who keep him as a pet.
Figured folks would ask, so I wanted to give you all the info. I have.
