about 25 years ago an irishman up the road from us owned a pub and resteraunt he was also a bit of a wheeler dealer. long story short him and my dad decided to get into a bit of pig trading the irishman woud supply the pigs and the feed dad woud look after them on the farm. they woud get 30 to 40 at a time hold them for 1 to 2 weeks and truck them to different sales  for several months some of the pigs they got vairied in sizes  just by a bit of chance the first weeks they were dealing in weaners with later weeks meadium sized then porker sized .we had a old neighbour that was a real busybody with nothing beter to do but come over all the time and anoy the old man. after several weeks comin over when dad was feeding the pigs he coud not believe the rapid groth rates dad was getting dad had to explain theese were experimental pigs we were rasing for reserch perposes and not to tell anyone ......wasnt long befour the whole district knew about our experimential pigs ;;;; the moral to this story if you want bigger pigs quick go buy em
