don't dilute it, just use it concentrate from the bottle. I just put it down their backs, i used a small syringe but the only problem i had trying to get it on their skin is it is kind of thick and likes to come up above their fur so i had to put it in alot of places on their backs. or if you can get them to stay on their backs you can rub it into their belly and chest skin, but since one of my dogs is nursing pups right now i didn't know how or if it would affect them but next time i am going to rub it in their chest and belly.
