A lot of times you'll end up have one or two hogs at a time make a break for it while the rest leave together. The dogs should bay the stragglers and as soon as the hog is caught they should roll out to the group again.

Ean the rcd is the problem insomuch as when a rough catchy dog or dogs bails off in there, they generally go tO mauling shoats or trying to catch sows and it busts the group.
