First thing, is read this board. After a pretty short time, you'll see who hunts, get to know their dogs, and get a pretty good feel for folks personality's, etc. even how they hunt and how their dogs hunt and work. With that information, you have a higher % of getting high quality dogs . Also, look at the member's posts counts, look at there posts and you'll see there are folks who are hunting 3-5 days a week, some folks who hunt once a week, people like me that are getting started and 2x a month is a good month(but business is about to pick up!), and some folks that love hogdogging but due to life circumstances, cant hunt at this time. The RED flag goes up ANY time i see some one that posts in "for sale" and their post count is "1".  To me, that's using the board to move dogs and almost disrespectful not to participate and be a part of ETHD except as a vehicle to move dogs. 80% of my lil green pack is from 3 or 4 folks on this board, had em shipped cuz i'm n Alabama, but felt good about the folks i dealt with from the exposure and how they handled themselves on the board and in conversations. I tried to do my homework and not get burned and have been pleased with all my dogs purchased off the board. But i did my homework, at this point, any short comings with any of my dogs are a reflection on me, not their breeders, but like i said, I'm picking up places to hunt, and business is picking up, also hooking up with alot of hog hunters near me and hunting with these folks helps a ton. Sorry, kinda rambling. Just do your homework and you'll be in good shape to get some nice hog dogs.
