When you set that 4 month old puppy down and he runs and makes a good loop and then he runs by you coming from another direction with his head up looking from side to side...and he hits the water in the slough like he has done it a hundred times before...and you say dam...thats a dog right there...
a week or two later the pup is trying to run a track that the main strike dog went right over and didn't slow down.
