Randy Wright gave me a pup from a litter that sold the litter mates to it for $750 to $1000. I bought 2 pups of Craig  for waaaaaay less than Randy's price and Craigs dogs were leaps and bounds better dogs than the pup Randy gave me or the 2 grown dogs my brother-n-law bought off Randy dog big money. Not saying Randy's dogs are bad , just saying price had nothing to do with quality or the prices would have been turned around. I think this

A- if dogs from a line are really that good you won't ever see them for sale cause there are 15 guys waiting to get there chance at one, be they coon dogs, cat dogs, bird dogs, rabbit dogs, police dogs or what ever dogs

B- no pup i worth a $1000 of hard earned cash to me and if you have $1000.00 to spend on pups I've got some things I need to sell you just call me, if I don't have it I'll find it quick  Wink

I agree with all you said...long time ago I got caught up on the wright curs and sometried tried to sell me 2 females that I stumbled on all night...also his best do looked nice but he wasn't what I considered to be  a real good dog...

I reckon he has some good dogs out there but I wonder what "good" really means to the ones who say it about those dogs???

but some of the best dog men usually give away what they don't keep or sell for a small fee if they even make them available to the public...
Men who breed dogs for the love of the dogs seldom consider money as a factor when breeding a litter, those that think money usually have there true motives bubble up and go public after a while.

( p.s. Best dogs I've ever owned were real real cheap or even free )

God Bless, Waylon

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog...
