I am 15 and new to hunting with dogs. What age should you retire the dog?
I have an 1 old airidele that was suppose to be start and turned out she won't do nothing at all but stay under your feet we have showed her some pigs and take her to every hunt we take the pack on how can I start her she never barks and stays behind you wen one is around. Thank for looking
I don't think she has what it takes to be a hog dog from what you have said...a hog dog can be ten years old but it depends on the dog, the dog will tell you by how it does... so you must be observant and decide when it is time...
